22Sep07We thank Raphael Ponce from www.netvibes.com, to have helped us having a Wikitel Universe.
A Universe is a new Netvibes Web 2.0 concept; basically it is an ajax application embeeded into a web page to aggregate various RSS news sources and widgets into various tabs, customise the page header to your company image, and made it public. We have used it to give an aggregated or common view of the three basic Wikitel elements: Wiki, Blog and Forums.
As we also have developed a quite powerful set of applications to process and generate RSS feeds we felt it was worth to include further tabs with ICT related news. There is even a tab for links and calendars where international events will be shown. As the project evolves other type of calendars can be added for universities, exhibitions, meetings, etc. You can also see a temporary trial tab showing the ERG web page.
We would like Wikitel to be a world class point of reference to ICT professionals, therefore will have to fine tune contents to visitor needs. Please write you comments and suggestions to the Wikitel Forum.
